I am a postdoctoral scholar in the Department of Gastroenterology at Duke University. I received my PhD from the University of Tokyo in 2026, where I examined how diet shapes host eating behavior via the microbiome-gut-brain axis.
My research focuses on gut sensing of dietary substrates and how that information is relayed to the brain.
Outside of research, I make ceramics.
