I am a postdoc in the Bohórquez Lab at Duke University. I seek to understand how the gut senses dietary substrates and communicates with the brain, with the broader goal of understanding how diet shapes behavior.
I earned my PhD in 2026 through the University of Tokyo while completing my research training as a Fellow at Harvard University, where I examined how industrialized diets influence eating behavior through the microbiome-gut-brain axis.
Beyond research, I make ceramics.
